May Sarton, a 20th century poet and novelist once wrote:

“Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help. Gardening is an instrument of grace.”

I truly love May’s philosophy, that says gardening to be much more than just a hobby, it is more about a lifestyle, a gardening lifestyle. A garden is your own personal statement, it is absolutely up to you to determine what and how you want it to be.
